Payment, Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading Terms

Keepsite is free for individual users and no credit card is required to hold and maintain a personal account.

Until further notice, payment for the Keepsite platform beyond the individual user account (that is, on an organisation basis) is by negotiation and will be subject to the financial agreement reached between Keepsite and the organisation in question. There is no facility to pay for the service via the website. Individuals can, without charge, create and administer their own individual user account from within the platform.

Cancellation and Termination

You are solely responsible for cancelling your own user account. An email or phone request to cancel your account is not considered cancellation. You can cancel your account at any time by clicking on the Settings tab and then clicking on the “close account” link in the admin section. Closing your account deactivates your account. Once your account is deactivated, you cannot use the Service, but you can still access your account for up to ninety (90) days. All of your Content will be deleted from the Service ninety (90) days following deactivation of your account. This information can not be recovered after it has been deleted. To reactivate your account during this ninety (90) day period, contact us at support@keepsite.com

KEEPSITE, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service for any reason at any time. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account or your access to your Account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your Account. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Intellectual Property Rights

You acknowledge that KEEPSITE owns all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including without limitation all intellectual property rights, and such rights are protected by UK, EU, US, and international intellectual property laws. You also agree that you will not use any robot, spider, other automated device, or manual process to monitor or copy any content from the Service.

KEEPSITE claims no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Service. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours. However, if you set your pages to be shared publicly, you agree to allow others to view and share your Content.

By participating in projects from your personal account, information that you upload to the project will be shared with anyone who is granted access to that project. You agree to allow others to view and share your Content within the bounds of the Keepsite service permissions management system. These permissions are customised on any project according to an individual’s classification as a certain type of user. Different users levels have different permissions. When your personal Keepsite account is ‘linked’ with a project for the purpose of participating in that project, some of your personal information will be shared and made public according to these defined user permissions. Your user permissions are not set through your individual account but are set by any given project’s administrator/s. As such, what is shared and what your access is will vary from project to project. Your participation in a project is via direct request from a projects administrator and your and you have the opportunity to choose to participate or not in any given project, at your discretion.

You may also be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use affiliate services, third-party content, or third-party software. If any part of these TOS is held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
